Arivo (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides an AI-powered in-car assistant designed to enhance productivity, safety, and convenience while driving. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Arivo, our mobile app, browser extensions, services, websites, and any related features (collectively, the “Services”).
By using Arivo, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password or authentication credentials.
- Vehicle Setup Information: Vehicle type, typical routes, preferences, common destinations.
- Requests & Inputs: Voice commands, text commands, queries, task instructions, and data submitted to enable the agent to act on your behalf.
1.2 Information Automatically Collected
Driving & Telemetry Data (with consent):
- GPS location and route data
- Speed, heading, and trip duration
- Sensor data from your phone or car (if integrated)
- Bluetooth status and device metadata
Device Information:
- Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers
- App activity, performance metrics, crash logs
Usage Data:
- Interactions with the agent
- Features used, time spent, voice interaction patterns
- Metadata about tasks executed on your behalf
1.3 Information from Integrations
If you connect third-party apps (e.g., calendars, messaging apps, maps, or other services), we may access permitted data from those services to fulfill your requests. Access and scope always follow the permissions you approve.
1.4 Email Drafts
When you dictate email replies through Arivo, we temporarily store your drafts until you send or delete them. Drafts include:
- The email content you compose through voice dictation
- Minimal context from the original email (sender address, subject line, and a brief snippet) to help you review your response
- Threading information to ensure replies appear correctly
Drafts are stored securely and are accessible only to you. You can edit, send, or delete drafts at any time from your dashboard. Once sent or deleted, draft data is removed from our systems.
1.5 Audio & Voice Data
Real-time Voice Processing: Voice commands may be streamed to our models for interpretation.
Optional Voice History: If you enable “voice history,” we may store transcriptions and recordings to improve accuracy and personalization. You can delete stored voice history at any time.
1.6 Payment Information
Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive financial information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Arivo Service
- Interpret your requests and perform tasks on your behalf
- Personalize agent behavior, routing, and driver assistance
- Ensure safety (e.g., minimizing distractions through hands-free interaction)
- Communicate with you about updates, new features, or support
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations
We never sell personal data.
3. How We Share Your Information
We may share information only in the following cases:
3.1 Service Providers
Trusted vendors who help with hosting, analytics, voice processing, customer support, and payments. These providers may only use your data to deliver their contracted services.
3.2 Third-Party Integrations
If you authorize Arivo to connect with external apps (e.g., Google Maps, Calendar), we share only the data necessary to perform the request.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect safety, property, or rights.
3.4 Business Transfers
If Arivo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer to the new entity.
We do not sell or lease your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest.
No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of Arivo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Google API Services User Data Policy
Arivo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, Arivo:
- Only uses Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features that are prominent in our app's interface
- Does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, with user consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law
- Does not use Google user data for serving advertisements or for purposes unrelated to the app's core functionality
- Does not allow humans to read Google user data unless you have given affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law
